Punjab beat Mumbai by 3 runs in a thriller and Bangalore won in thriller vs Kolkata

In a thrilling 19th match of 2009 Indian Premier League - IPL, Bangalore Royal Challengers clinched a thriller as they beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 5 wickets with 1 ball remaining and pushed them to last place in the 1st game and in the 2nd game Kings XI Punjab punja beat Mumbai Indians by 3 runs in another thriller on Wednesday, 29th April, 2009 at Durban.

Kings XI Punjab batted 1st and scored only 119/8 in 20 overs tough wickets thanks to Sangakkara's unbeaten 45 runs but in-form Yusuf Abdullah bowled beautifully as given only 7 runs in the last over as 12 required and taken Duminy's wicket who made 59 runs and restricted Mumbai Indians for 116/7 in 20 overs

Kolkata Knight Riders batting 1st hit back on the 1st ball as Kevin Pietersen opening the bowling took his counterpart Brandon McCullum for duck and only Chris Gayle made 40 runs and Morne van Vyk's 35-ball 44 to reach 139/6. In reply Bangalore Royal Challengers put a best opening partnership of their IPL with 69 runs struggling but in the end Mark Boucher's 13 ball 25 runs helped them to win.
